We began as Oxford Air Services in 1994, and the rebranding comes in our fifteenth year in recognition of the fact that so much of our helicopter charter work takes place not just within the UK but throughout Europe.

Clients who have known us under our original name can rest assured that while the name might now be Capital Air Services, our dedication to service remains the same.

We operate our own diverse fleet of twin engine helicopters and act as a broker for the most reliable names in fixed-wing charter services. What’s more we offer a full management service for helicopter owners, allowing some offset of the costs associated with operating helicopters.

Our pilots are highly trained, highly experienced and highly personable, with an absolute minimum of 1,000 flying hours apiece. Their experience isn’t restricted to civilian commercial flights though. The rigours of flying helicopters in the military is the usual background, while the wide range of the services we supply is such that they’ve flown aerial photographers, film crews for news programmes, television special events and international blockbuster films, as well as emergency services missions at short notice. Pilots are ably supported by our dedicated operations staff and ground crews. We have built our reputation on a promise of customer service and everything we do is about the service you receive.
