Capital Air Services is delighted to announce the arrival of a third Airbus H145 D3 Helicopter to its Charter Fleet!
These state of the art helicopters can carry 8/9 passengers in a beautifully appointed cabin with great visibility and a super smooth ride.
We are very proud to have been selected to manage and operate these helicopters, which greatly enhance our very popular EC135 fleet. To be able to take off from Battersea Heliport with 8/9 passengers and a flight endurance of nearly two hours truly sets the H145 apart.
All our aircraft are twin engine and IFR capable. IFR means the ability to fly in poor weather, day or night.
Airbus H145
The H145 D3 with the upgraded 5 bladed main rotor system will carry up to 8/9 passengers and has become known for its smooth ride and increased range. Formally known as the BK 117 this type has undergone huge advancement over the years to increase its capabilities so that now it equals or betters the comfort and performance of the now aging Sikorsky S76 which was a previous favourite of Capital customers.

Eurocopter EC135
Described by our Chief Pilot as “an airborne Range Rover Sport”.
The flexible and ultra-reliable EC135 carries up to six passengers in air-conditioned comfort, with a cavernous luggage bay. The EC135 is perfect for both the rugged out of the way country landing site as well as city centre sites where available.
